Reports that build themselves, from the tools you already use
Most small teams already have the numbers. They are just spread across four tools, and someone spends hours each week copying them into one spreadsheet that is out of date by Monday. We read each tool through its API or its exports, join the data, and deliver the report on a schedule, with every figure linked back to the record behind it.
What goes wrong today
The symptoms we hear on the first call. If two of these sound familiar, this is the right page.
- One person rebuilds the same spreadsheet every week, and nobody else knows how.
- Each tool has its own report, and none of them agree with each other.
- The built-in dashboards show totals, not the twelve accounts that need a call today.
- Week-over-week change is worked out by hand, if at all.
- When the person who built the report is out, the report is too.
What we build
Each piece is built in your environment, on your accounts, and can be adopted on its own.
Read every source
Accounting, CRM, helpdesk, project boards and spreadsheets read through their APIs, or from scheduled exports where there is no API.
Join it up
Customers, jobs and invoices matched across systems, so one row means one customer everywhere, and mismatches are listed rather than hidden.
A view for each role
An owner's summary, a manager's exceptions list and a team member's to-do view from the same data. Thresholds are editable without a developer.
Week over week
Every figure compared with last week and last month, with the change shown, so the report says what moved, not just where things stand.
Delivered where you work
Google Sheets, Excel in SharePoint, a web dashboard or a scheduled email. Drill-down links go straight to the record in the source tool.
Ask it questions
Optional: an assistant that answers questions about the same data, with every lookup logged (see AI quality assurance and agents).
Inside the system
Narrated, screen-by-screen walkthroughs of the product we build. Fictional company and data; the method is the one in production.
Deep dive: dashboards that find the gaps
Seven narrated minutes: API reads from several systems into one store, the checks that find what people are missing, the morning list, and the numbers eight weeks on. A fictional support team; demo data only.
See all videosWhat you receive
Delivered at handover. Managed support afterwards is optional and month to month.
- Scheduled reports or a dashboard, refreshed automatically
- A data dictionary: where every number comes from and how it is worked out
- Runs in your own Google, Microsoft or cloud account
- Documentation and the source code
Proof
From production systems, described without client names. Numbers are rounded.
Five roles, editable thresholds and an activity log, in production.
Week-over-week changes and links back to each record, delivered on a schedule.
About 17,000 lines of reporting code running on Cloud Run and Scheduler.
Our commitment
Written into every proposal.
The price in the proposal is the price you pay
Fixed prices are fixed. If the work turns out bigger than we scoped, that is our problem, not a change order.
Walk away by day 7
If the first week does not convince you, stop by day 7 and you owe nothing. Anything we built so far stays in your accounts.
You keep everything
Code, documentation and credentials live in your accounts from day one. No licence fee, no lock-in, managed support cancellable any month.
